Human Resource Planning, Recruitment and Selection.
HR Planning
HR begins with planning of manpower, which is required to ascertain gap between the available employee / man power cadre and real requirement of man power in advance and taking suitable measures to fulfill the same.
"Human resource planning (HRP) is the continuous process of systematic planning ahead to achieve optimum use of an organization's most valuable asset - quality employees". (Hayes,A;, 2020)
The man power gap can be created in an organization due to various reasons such as labor turnover, new job creations & promotions due to expansion, changes in organizational structure.
Therefore, the process of analyzing and estimating the future employee requirement and determining the steps to be taken to fulfill those requirements in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization is known as Human Resource Planning.
